Makeup or preferably called as cosmetics are used to change the look and enhance the appearance of our body or face. I remember the first time I was interested to wear makeup was when I realized that there's something I'd like to beautify on my face. And the reason as to why most people wear it is the same: to cover their flaws. But the time when beauty filters bombarded our society, that was the time when people in this country started to makeup-shame women. People post a picture comparing a woman with and without makeup, saying that women with makeup are fake and keep making jokes about it. This is like a punch to my gut, society is so mean nowadays.
